Dr. Ross
Dr. Bill Ross graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1991, and completed a two-year general practice residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital on the campus of Wake Forest University, where he served as chief resident during his second year.
Dr. Ross is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, The South Carolina Dental Association, The Tri-County Dental Society, and the Catawba Dental Study Club, a local organization dedicated to the advancement of dental care. He is a graduate of the acclaimed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, received the prestigious Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1995, and is currently completing the requirements for the Mastership designation. Dr. Ross has also served as president of the Tri-County Dental Society, and has served on the board of directors for Winthrop University’s Eagle Club.
He lives in Rock Hill with his wife, Myra. In their spare time, they enjoy boating, scuba diving, traveling and spending time with their two children.
Dr. Coombs
Dr. Paul Coombs graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in zoology. He earned his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1984. He was ranked first in his class during his general practice residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego. He was assigned to the USS Samuel Gompers in Alameda, Calif., as the dental officer.
Following his two year tour of duty, he practiced general dentistry in Anderson, S.C., before establishing his practice in Rock Hill in 1987.
Dr. Coombs has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and has studied at the Pankey Institute of Dentistry. He completed his cosmetic dentistry training at the Las Vegas Institute.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Tri-County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and numerous study clubs.
He was born in Norfolk, Va., and grew up in Charleston, S.C. He and his wife, Karen, have two children. In his spare time, Dr. Coombs enjoys running and playing golf.
